LANCERS IN ACTION

This week's Academic Spotlight is on sophomore Josh Zhou, who was nominated by his English teacher, Mrs. Gonzalez. In her nomination, Mrs. Gonzalez highlighted that Josh is a pleasure to have in class. He often volunteers to read aloud (even Shakespeare!), always submits assignments on time, and is always eager to read ahead of the assigned text. Josh has an excellent understanding of literature and inspires his classmates to dive deeper into our classroom texts. Keep up the great work, Josh!

Congratulations to the November Students of the Month: Sofia Filardi ‘26, Josephine Elliott ‘24, Addison Accardi ‘27, Julia Litwinionek ‘25

On Wednesday night, we had the privilege of hosting our French, Spanish, Tri-M Music and National Honor Society induction ceremonies at Vazzano's in Stratford. We also recognized those who earned a 90 or higher average in their classes last year. Congrats to the over 150 students who were honored. Here's to your continued academic success!

Thanks for those who attended Bagels and Blessings on Friday morning before school.

Students in the Drama Club participated in an audition workshop with Rocco Natale, executive director of Open Arts Alliance. They learned how to select music and become a character for an audition and used these skills to begin preparing for their Seussical audition. Seussical is ND’s spring musical this year.

Thank you to Tuesday’s volunteers at St. Catherine's: juniors Daniella Batista, Gabe Espada, and Salina Shaw.

Here is a sneak peak at one of the many beautiful paintings that will be up at the Winter Arts Celebration. The students in the Foundation classes have created "stained glass" themed holiday paintings. They are gorgeous! (The painting pictured was created by Tina Ferreria '26).
