On Saturday morning, December 20, Notre Dame students Taylor '22 and Madison Gibbs '24 joined the Sacred Heart University Alumni Association, Wade’s Dairy of Bridgeport, ShopRite of Milford, and the City of Bridgeport as part of the Farmers to Families Program to distribute free turkeys, dairy bundles and perishable food boxes to 1,500 people in need in our local communities. The event was made possible by fundraising through the Sacred Heart University Student Government Annual Turkey Drive and a contribution from the USDA.
This Week at ND
Students in the Foundation Art Studios are working on their unique name designs. Their pieces are based on the definitive abstract paintings of Piet Mondrian. His compositions were constructed from thick, black horizontal and vertical lines. He limited his color palette to black, white, gray and the three primary colors. The students will add pops of these colors in the next steps of the project. Projects by: Mandy Mercado and Nemo Pettway
