Link Crew

A huge thank you to our Link Crew for helping make Freshman Orientation such a great start to the year! These students showed up a few days early to train, prepare, make signs and get everything ready for our newest Lancers. Then they spent the day welcoming freshmen, answering questions, giving directions, and making sure everyone felt comfortable and included. Great job Link Leaders!

Welcome To Our New Staff

Class Act Council

Members of the NDP 'Class Act Council' recently attended the SWC Leadership Conference at Newtown HS. They received leadership training from Empower, and worked with SWC conference peers to develop plans to enhance our league goals on sportsmanship.

Welcome Class of 2030!

Dr. Cipriano is pictured above welcoming the freshman class during their Orientation this past Monday. The Class of 2030 is comprised of 179 students - NDP's largest freshman class since 2001. Special thanks to Ms. Medoff and Mrs. Cipriano, along with all the Link Leaders, for welcoming our freshman class in style earlier this week.

Homecoming Football Game and Reception

Join Us as Notre Dame Prep battles Xavier!

Friday, October 2 - Kickoff at 6:30 pm.

Sacred Heart University's Sikorsky Credit Union Field

Watch the game and enjoy food and drink under the end zone tent.

The reception begins at 6:00 pm and includes a ticket to the game, a menu 

of tailgate food, one alcoholic beverage, unlimited soda, water and seltzer . A cash bar will  be available.

Tickets can be purchased here by September 25.

ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR STUDENTS & PARENTS

Auditions for Quasimezzos

The Quasimezzos, ND's student-led a cappella group, are holding auditions on Tuesday, September 8 from 2:30 to 3:45 in the music room (room 101). Sign ups are posted outside the music room. Interested students should prepare a song of their choosing that showcases their vocal ability. See Mr. Chuba if you have any questions.

Join Campus Ministry

Campus Ministry is having its first meeting of the year on Thursday, 9/10 after school in the cafeteria. The meeting should last about 20 minutes. Please see Ms. Medoff if you are interested in joining but unable to attend. New members are welcome. 

Drama Club Meeting

The Drama Club will have its first meeting on Wednesday, September 9 at 2:25 in the music room (room 101). Come join us if you are interested in anything related to plays, musicals, tech crew, sound crew, and stage crew. The meeting will have information about the fall play, including details about auditions which will be held on the 10th and 11th. All are welcome to join us.

Tri-M Music Honor Society

The Tri-M Music Honor Society will have its first meeting on Tuesday, September 15 in the music room. All members should attend.

Parent Association Power Pledge

Every parent is asked to commit to volunteering for two hours each school year. We promise there is no obligation beyond this two-hour pledge.  Some events need in person help, some need donations of food and some need both! Click here to register then watch your email for sign up links as opportunities come up throughout the year.

Freshman Social

Link Crew is sponsoring our annual Freshman Social on Wednesday, September 9 from 5:30-7:30 pm in the cafeteria and front of the school. All freshmen are invited and encouraged to attend. Students will have the opportunity to eat pizza and snacks, play games, listen to music and sing karaoke, reconnect with their Link Leaders, and get to know other freshmen in their class. Dress is casual. Please see Mrs. Cipriano or Ms. Medoff with any questions.

College Fair

The Fall College Fair will be held on Thursday, September 24 at 7 pm at at St. Joseph High School. So far, there are 95+ colleges signed up to attend with more to come!
