Math Classes Participate in Lego Team Building
In Ms. Longo's math classes, students in groups of three were asked to build a structure out of legos by only communicating with each other and not looking at the structure. Each student played a role in the activity. One student was the builder, another communicated to the third student how to build the structure that the first built. The groups had 10-20 legos to use. Some of the structures built were towers, planes, ships and a cross.
