In this virtual, interactive conference, Dr. Laurel Hilliker, PhD, FT (Fellow in Thanatology), will address personal and professional experiences of transformative grief, focusing on what helps and what derails the journey. She will examine current discourse in both the scholarly research and the general public regarding the transformative nature of grieving a loss. This assessment will include the impact of different factors on the process of transformation and lead into an overview of different types of transformation, including cognitive, normative and existential aspects. Lastly, Dr. Hilliker will explore a new concept [Grief-ism] for consideration as a creative approach for support purposes that offers fresh insights on grief literacy. Learn more and register TODAY!
