Well how did Summer get away so quickly?!?
If you're like me, Summer is your favorite time of the year! The warm weather and long days make me feel like a freshly charged solar battery. Full of warmth, light, and a drive to tackle every summer project! However, the cooler temperatures recently, and the excitement about our Fall and Winter events, is charging me up, too!
So, here we are, coming down off the unparalleled joy of summer vacation, yet still looking forward to the end of year festivities! We have many events outside of our regular meeting in the coming months, and we cannot wait to execute them all again! The board is excited about our plans, but we need your help. We need members ready to serve on the parade committee, members to collect donations for our Christmas charity auction, and members to help with educational support/outreach events we have planned!
So please be thinking of where you can best help us out as you plan for the coming months. We will have sign up sheets for these three opportunities at our next meeting, as well as hear from representatives of the committees about expectations for volunteers. (Spoiler alert: they don't take up too much of your time and are a great way to get involved with your community and fellow Chamber Members!!)
