NDEO Online Forums Can Help You
Connect & Share Info with Other NDEO Members

During this time of uncertainty regarding COVID-19 and its impact on our daily lives, we wanted to remind our members that you can connect with other members via our Online Forums to ask questions, seek advice, and share information on how you are responding to the changes in your schools and studios and your teaching practice.

Online Forums
Connect & Share Info with Other Dance Educators
Currently there more than 10 different Online Forums broken down by sector / focus area - K-12, Higher Ed, Private Sector, Performing Arts Org, Early Childhood, and more.

While most of you receive these Online Forum posts via EMAIL, you can actually view them all online on our website as long as you login to your NDEO member account at www.ndeo.org/onlineforums .

The Online Forums on our website are a great archive of all replies
and all documents shared.

Online Forum Tips
Start New Threads / Descriptive Subject Lines
Regardless of what Forum you are posting in, it is important to remember that starting a NEW Thread with a descriptive subject line is the BEST WAY to make your information or request visible and searchable.

You Cannot Start a New Thread if You Are NOT a Member of that Forum
While you can view all Forum posts on our website, you can only post messages and replies if you are a member of that particular Forum. See instructions below on how to join the Forums.

Don't Reply Thank You or Ask Someone to Send You Something
Feel free to hit REPLY to ask questions or to share information or files but do NOT hit REPLY to send messages of thanks or requests for someone to send you something. This clogs up the inboxes of all the members that are subscribed to the Forum. Instead, for personal messages, reply directly to the sender.

The National Dance Education Organization is closely monitoring all developments regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19), and its impact upon schools, travel, and gatherings. While this situation continues to evolve, our top priorities remain the health and safety of our employees and members and delivering excellent customer service even under challenging circumstances. At this time, we do not anticipate any interruption in the service you receive from NDEO.

We are taking steps to ensure that we are ready to continue to serve you should the situation escalate. NDEO staff is regularly reviewing developments to ensure the organization is prepared should there be an impact to our operations. In addition, we are following all CDC recommendations and those of local and state government.

  • All National Honor Society Chapters should place their orders as soon as possible to ensure timely delivery. We do not currently expect any delays in shipment but this is a fluid situation and there could be delays in getting items to chapters. For honor society related questions please email nhsda@ndeo.org.

  • All plans for the NDEO 2020 National Conference, scheduled to take place October 18 through October 20, remain on track. For Conference specific questions please email conference@ndeo.org.
