Will your child be graduating from high school this year, and are they looking for scholarships to help fund their next academic endeavor? Every year, the Iowa/Illinois NDIA Chapter awards $2,500 to five students.
Applicants need to be a child of an Iowa/Illinois NDIA member or an active member of the military within our region, as well as a graduating Senior enrolled in an Iowa or Illinois high school with a cumulative GPA between 2.60 and 4.0, an interest in college preparatory studies, and involvement within the school community.
You may send your applications to John Masengarb, via post or email (contact info in application). Please include the following forms in your submission:
- A completed scholarship application, including the confidential scholastic and personal data form,
- Two letters of recommendation, one from an advisor or faculty member.
- A five-hundred word essay on what you have done to pursue your aspirations and how you will apply them after graduation.
- A copy of your high school transcript.
The deadline to submit is April 11th, 2024.
