Thank You, American Ordinance!

In October, the NDIA IA-IL Chapter had the amazing opportunity to tour one of the largest Government Owned, Contractor Operated (GOCO) facilities. After the tour, we had a wonderful dinner afterwards at The Drake.

We would like to give special thanks to our Board member, Logan Brincks, and the American Ordinance team for putting this tour together! It was an insightful learning opportunity, and we greatly appreciate getting the chance to experience it firsthand.

We would like to take a moment to recognize two amazing people who contributed so much effort to the Iowa-Illinois Chapter. Though we will miss them greatly, we wish them all the best in their future endeavors.

Colonel Alan “Al” Kruse served on the NDIA IA-IL Board of Directors for 23 years before retiring earlier this year.

Colonel Kruse is the President/Owner of Pendulum Resources LLC and Eagle River Management Company. He has also served with SCORE for a number of years and has been active in the Chamber of Commerce.

His enthusiasm and down to earth approach inspired so many people, and we know he will continue to do amazing things. Thank you, Al.

Janet Masamoto served on the NDIA IA-IL Board of Directors for 22 years before officially retiring in October.

Janet is the founder and president of JTM Concepts, starting the company in 1994. She also has served on the Community Foundation board, the Putnam Museum board, and the advisory boards of WQPT and Western Illinois University, among others.

She is an inspiration to her fellow Board members, and we appreciate her for the hard work she dedicated to this Chapter. Thank you, Janet.
