On-line Learning Opportunities Available
The Transportation Learning Network (TLN) is a division of the Upper Great Plains Transportation Institute (UGPTI) at North Dakota State University. TLN is governed by a committee representing each of the participating state DOTs and Center for Transformative Infrastructure Preservation and Sustainability (CTIPS)—formerly Mountain-Plains Consortium (MPC)—universities.
TLN was developed to serve the transportation interests of the region and complements the efforts of its various members. It provides access to information and expertise not readily available to transportation professionals in the region. TLN identifies, schedules, distributes and warehouses technology transfer for its members.

This training is part of a Susan Harwood Grant Program with OSHA and is available at no cost to companies with fewer than 250 employees in the construction industry.

FY25 Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) NOFO Now Live
USDOT has released the notice of funding opportunity for the fiscal year 2025 Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) program. The deadline for applications is June 26, 2025 at 5:00 pm EDT.
Established by the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), the Safe Streets and Roads for All grant program funds regional, local, and Tribal initiatives through grants to prevent roadway deaths and serious injuries. Over $982 million is made available by this NOFO, and a similar amount is expected to be available next year in a future funding round.
The SS4A program provides funding for two main types of grants:
- Planning and Demonstration Grants
- Implementation Grants
