 Memorial Day Ceremonies – Tonopah/Hawthorne
Tonopah dedicated a new memorial on Memorial Day 2021. It honors the airmen who died in training during World War II at the Tonopah Army Air Field, carrying the names of all 121 of the deceased.  Read More
Free Gift to Korean War Veterans
The nationally acclaimed book, Korea Reborn: A Grateful Nation Honors War Veterans for 60 Years of Growth and the DVD, The Remembered War,  a 2014 GI Film Festival-selected documentary, are being bundled together in a collector's edition commemorative book and DVD set.

Reno/Sparks Youth Support the Northern Nevada State Veterans Home 
In June, members of Outlook Christian Church’s Youth Group volunteered at the Northern Nevada State Veterans Home (NNSVH) shoveling and wheelbarrowing three yards of soil into planter boxes. Thank you to these outstanding young people for donating their time and energy to help local veterans! Read More

Throughout the pandemic, our Veterans Service Officers never let off the gas in their work to help our veterans access their benefits. As of June 1, 2021, the NDVS Veterans Advocacy Support Team (VAST) has returned to their offices across the state and are ready to take in person appointments. Read More
