STEM BEST Webinar Offered

The goal of STEM BEST® (Businesses Engaging Students and Teachers) Program is to unite educators and employers to expand the learning continuum from school to careers.     
 
Since 2014, the STEM BEST® Awards have been helping schools create opportunities for students to connect what they learn in the classroom with real-world applicability and potential careers. Iowa public and non-public schools serving students in grades K-12 are welcome to apply.

Northeast Iowa Family STEM Festival (Elkader) - Exhibitors Wanted  
      
 
Join us in sharing the excitement of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) by exhibiting at the   Northeast Iowa Family STEM Festival in Elkader on Thursday, October 24 from 4:00PM to 7:00PM. 
 
The goals of the STEM festival are to promote, inspire and engage youth in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics activities and to introduce children and parents to STEM careers.
 
Who is Invited to Exhibit:
  • Business and industry
  • Institutions of higher education
  • Non-profit groups
  • Government organizations
  • Other
 
What we are Looking for in an Exhibitor:
There are endless possibilities of what the students and families could do at your booth including:
  • conducting an experiment
  • playing a game
  • participating in an interactive demonstration
