Each corporate partner photographed their own employee and provided the image while Strategic America, Iowa STEM's marketing partner, negotiated the donated billboard space, keeping the cost to Iowa STEM minimal. festivalSTEM Festivals in Northeast Iowa

It has been another amazing year for STEM festivals in northeast Iowa. The Northeast Region of the Iowa Governor's STEM Advisory Council, and its partners, hosted four regional Family STEM festivals in fiscal year 2016-17. Over 4,700 (42% between the ages of 6-12 years old) attended the events to interact with 175 hands-on exhibits. Exhibitors represented business and industry, county and state government, higher education, K-12 schools and non-profits.

The STEM festivals attracted people from 90 communities across three states. The map below represents the cities and towns in which attendees were from.
