General Session - Understanding ISO 22301 and the Value of Certification
Since its introduction in the summer of 2012, ISO 22301 has been the subject of intense interest among the business continuity and emergency management community. But has it helped or hindered the movement towards greater business preparedness? How does ISO 22301 compare to other accepted standards such as NFPA 1600, ASIS SPC.1? Is there a compelling business reason for seeking certification to this or other standards? Are there other options available shy of full certification? How much does certification costs and what is the best way to prepare for the process? These and other questions will be addressed in this informative session.

Presented by: Don R. Byrne, President and CEO-Metrix 411
