Meet NEECA's newest
Board Member,

Dr. Kimmie Morrissey!

Kimmie Morrissey grew up in West Springfield, MA, and spent most of her time around horses, riding and competing in western horse shows. She graduated from Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine in 2012 and has been practicing veterinary medicine in several states since.

In 2013, she moved to Buffalo, NY for 11 years, where she practiced small animal medicine as well as some equine medicine. In Western NY, she developed a love for barrel racing and competed in multiple barrel races and gymkhana shows with her horses. Kimmie also loves trail riding with her horses.

She recently returned to the Western Mass area in 2024 to be closer to her family. She currently lives in Southwick, MA but works in Athol with Dr. Mowcomber at Family Pet. She

joined NEECA as a board member in early 2026.

HOW CAN YOU HELP NEECA GROW?

In 2025 NEECA was the grateful recipient of nearly $6000 in donations from supporters. All of this money is used to help NEECA grow and improve. These recent donations made the purchase of the jumps mentioned above possible this year.

If you would like to show your support of NEECA, we have added a donation button to the home page of our website, www.neeca.org, where you can make a one-time or recurring donation to NEECA in the amount of your choosing. As always, we are so very appreciative of all the support shown to NEECA from our very generous supporters!

NEECA is a 501(c)3 so your donations may be tax deductible.
