Looking for a way to keep active while working from home or the office with no customers around to keep you moving?
NEFLIN is proud to bring you a twice-weekly LIVE exercise experience created with library staff in mind.
Former Jacksonville Public Library librarian Kema Roseberry is presenting Red Sneakers workouts every Tuesday and Thursday at 10AM for you via our
Facebook page!
Red Sneakers is
a progressive sit to fit program to both strengthen and stretch the body.
No equipment is needed to participate, but light (1-3 pound) hand weights are a plus (you can always add weights later).
No experience is necessary to join the Red Sneakers workout, but it's always smart to have clearance from your doctor to participate.

Julie Evener, University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences |
"I am the Director of Library Services at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences, where I have worked for 10 years. I have my master's degree in library and information science from the University of South Carolina, and an education doctorate in higher education leadership from Walden University. Previously, I served on the NEFLIN Board of Directors.
My experiences in my job, as well as on the NEFLIN board, have helped me hone my skills in
strategic planning,
budgeting, and
outcomes assessment. I also have experience working with various types of academic libraries, myself being the long-time director of the library at a for-profit, health sciences university. My research has focused on academic leadership topics including
organizational learning,
employee engagement, and
innovation."
We encourage ALL NEFLIN members to
submit their profile and be a part of helping us develop this new resource!
