Member Library Spotlight

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University
Anne Marie Casey, Library Director

The Hunt Library, located in the center of the Daytona Beach Campus, serves this campus and the distance learning students, faculty and staff of the Worldwide Campus. Opened in 1985, the library building is named in honor of Jack Hunt, the first president of Embry-Riddle (1963-1984), and an aviation education pioneer.

Hunt Library users will find resources which support the specialized aviation and aerospace curriculum in a variety of formats: books, government documents, periodicals, microforms, conference proceedings, videos, DVDs and electronic resources. The library website is always available and provides access to tools such as the EAGLEsearch discovery tool, which allows researchers to explore the Hunt Library's online catalog and many of the subscription databases simultaneously. Research Librarians with specialized training in aviation research methodology are available for assistance in person, by telephone, email, and chat.

The library is a popular destination and is heavily used by students who are researching, collaborating or studying. The library staff is committed to quality customer service which is why the library's motto is: "Bringing the Library to You."
