Building Brains with Music
Thursday, April 30th
9:00 am - 12:00 pm
@NEFLIN (Orange Park)
Repeatedly, research has shown that music is the only activity that utilizes the entire brain. Combining that with knowing that the early years are the ones where we make the most difference, this workshop demonstrates through movement and activity how to use music to build brains to create children that are competent, capable and confident.

Music, Movement, and Manipulatives
Thursday, April 30th
1:00 - 4:00 pm
@NEFLIN (Orange Park)
As we draw more senses to the learning experience, children retain more. Participants will be shown how to combine music and movement with puppets for visual, aural and tactile stimulation. The importance of using props with music and movement will be discussed and validated.
