Florida Libraries Online Conference:
Now Open for Registration!
| | |
Wednesday, June 10, 2026
10:00 am - 3:30 pm
Online
Libraries are more than places. They foster growth, connection, and transformation! The Florida Libraries Online Conference brings together library staff from across the state to explore how libraries actively build stronger futures for the communities they serve.
Hosted collaboratively by Florida’s Multi-type Library Cooperatives (NEFLIN, SEFLIN, SWFLN, PLAN, and TBLC) this virtual conference offers an engaging space for learning, sharing, and inspiration across all library types.
Centered on the theme “Libraries Build…”, the conference highlights the many ways libraries create impact through five dynamic breakout tracks: Welcoming Spaces, Leaders, Opportunities, Communities, and Strong Teams.
| | |
NEFLIN's "Welcoming Spaces" track focuses on the physical environments that libraries create and maintain. Topics in our breakout sessions include working with the resources you already have access to, disaster recovery, and new construction.

Borland Health Sciences Library:
New & Improved!
| | |
The University of Florida is almost synonymous with its hometown of Gainesville, but did you know that UF Libraries also have a location in Downtown Jacksonville?
Borland Health Sciences Library serves the academic, research, and clinical needs of UF Health Jacksonville. The NEFLIN Staff visited to see the library's "new & improved" space, which features collaborative, flexible spaces and tools that welcome and engage the many students, faculty, and staff who step through the door.
| | Visitors to the library are invited to contribute a small, painted canvas to a Collaborative Art Project. | This nap pod, complete with massage chair, gentle music, and programmed lights provides students with a relaxing escape. | New interactive study spaces are popular for individuals and groups. | Jenny and Beth with Borland Library Director Carrie Adams | | | Librarian Chris Eaton demonstrates one of Borland's new Vibe Boards. | Librarian Garfield Simmons shows off the new soundproof privacy booth for phone calls and online meetings. | Treadmill and Cycling Desks contribute to student wellness. | Thank you, Carrie, Chris, Garfield, and Alyson, for a great visit! | | | |
This project is funded under the provisions of the Library Cooperative Grant program awarded to the Northeast Florida Library Information Network (NEFLIN). Florida’s LCG program is administered by the Florida Department of State's Division of Library and Information Services.
