Interlibrary Loan Lending Policy Recommendation

To protect the health of our member librarians, staff, and patrons, and to align with the changing operating status and staffing levels of our member libraries, NELLCO Law Library Consortium, Inc. is recommending that members cease shipments of all physical materials between libraries.
Cancellation of 2020 NELLCO & LIPA Symposium

We announced last week that the 2020 NELLCO & LIPA Symposium has been cancelled. We are currently exploring the possibility of hosting some of the content and sessions virtually. At this time, we intend to wait until the immediate crisis is over to schedule virtual content. Requests for virtual content can be sent to Corie Dugas.
Extension of Invoice Due Dates
We recognize that some institutions are operating with minimal staff or have temporarily closed. In response, we will be working with all libraries on outstanding invoices. All currently open invoices have extend their due dates by 30 days. If you need additional time to pay invoices, contact Theresa McCue.
Offsite Access to Electronic Resources

As libraries temporarily transition to providing services and resources to their patrons virtually, it is imperative that your electronic resources can be accessed offsite. If you find that any of your NELLCO subscriptions are not accessible offsite, please contact us at admin@nellco.org.

We have been in touch with many of our vendors to ensure that the resources your library subscribes to are available to you and your patrons anywhere, but we know that you may run into difficulties. Rest assured that NELLCO will work with our providers to guarantee continuity of services.
We recognize that this is an unprecedented situation. NELLCO is committed to helping our members at all times and especially at this time. Reach out if you have questions or comments.
