Join us for noontime prayers during Lent. Every weekday at noon, the Northeastern Ohio Synod staff gathers in the Lutheran Center chapel to pray for our synod's congregations and rostered leaders. The liturgy is about 15 minutes, including a devotion, prayers, and a hymn. If you are in the area, you are welcome to join us! The 2019 Lenten Prayer calendar has been published in the weekly e-news, and is included with the inserts for this Unified.

Reminder: Does your congregation have a "green team?" Does your congregation have a "green team," a creation care committee, or some other program devoted to environmental stewardship? Marilyn Matevia is acting as the synod's point person, or "Green Shepherd," with Lutherans Restoring Creation (LRC), a national organization promoting care for creation within the ELCA ( https://lutheransrestoringcreation.org/ ). If your congregation is already affiliated with LRC, or would like to connect and brainstorm about creation care programs with other congregations across the synod, please contact Marilyn at the synod office: mmatevia@neos-elca.org .
