New England Chapter of the PDA is excited to offer the 30^th

in our webinar series.

This webinar will have a panel of speakers followed by a Q&A session.

Karen McCullough will give an overview of endotoxin testing and will include a discussion of the history of methods and where the industry and the regulators are now heading on the subject.

Jay Bolden's topic will be "Recombinant Factor C: Connecting the Laboratory, Patient and Biodiversity". The presentation will cover Eli Lilly's implementation strategy and data, and explore external data in the literature.

Deborah Cramer will explore the unusual, astonishing and essential connections between horseshoe crabs, Limulus Amebocyte Lysate (LAL) and the lives of migrating shorebirds.

Jay Bolden is a Director in the Eli Lilly and Company Global Quality Laboratories. He is an internal bacterial endotoxins subject matter expert and leads a team with global QC oversight for developing, validating, transferring, and troubleshooting endotoxin, microbiology, QPCR and ELISA, methodologies.

Deborah Cramer is the author of numerous articles and books about the sea and coast, including "The Narrow Edge: A Tiny Bird, An Ancient Crab and An Epic Journey" in which she accompanied threatened shorebirds on their long migrations, exploring how the horseshoe crabs are critical to the birds' health and well-being. Her essays appear in the New York Times.
