Due to a lack of unit sponsored stations and unit involvement, the decision has been made to cancel the 2020 Fall Camporee to be held October 16 - 18, 2020 at the Edmund D. Strang Scout Reservation.

Pack 25, Shelton - Held a Pack Rain Gutter Regatta and instead of powering the boats with their breath the youth used hand fans.  The Pack also held a campfire.

Pack 14, Oxford - Held a clean up day for their Chartered Organization and used the new Cub Scout Community Project yard signs.

Troop 25, Shelton -Took a hike with their unit and enjoyed the outdoors.

Troop 28, Shelton - Took a hike with their unit and had Webelos from Pack 28, Shelton join them.

WHO WANTS PIZZA? - The Housatonic Council Commissioners wants to see more photos of our Scouts in Action during the pandemic.  Send us the photos of what your unit is doing.

IN-PERSON YOUTH PROTECTION CLASS TO BE OFFERED AT THE COUNCIL SERVICE CENTER ON OCTOBER 24, 2020 AT 9:00 AM.

If you are having trouble taking Youth Protection online, or have an older computer come take this course.  The course is limited to 10 people and a mask must be worn during the class.

HOUSATONIC COUNCIL ENDOWMENT - 1920 SOCIETY

The Houstonic Council has established a new Legacy Fund at the Valley Community Foundation entitled the 1920 Society.  Proceeds from the 1920 Society will be used to continue to deliver the Scouting program in the Lower Naugatuck Valley.
