NCSO®/NHSA™

New Digital Badge System

The Infrastructure Health and Safety Association (IHSA) is excited to partner with BadgeCert to unveil a digital badge system which recognizes accomplishments, specifically for National Construction Safety Officers (NCSO®s) and National Health and Safety Administrators (NHSA™s).


IHSA's digital badge system offers a dynamic and verifiable way for NCSO®s and NHSA™s to showcase their designation. These digital badges serve as an easily accessible and shareable representation of individual accomplishments, providing an overview of qualifications and competencies. By adopting this innovative digital badge system, NCSO®s and NHSA™s position themselves at the forefront of industry advancements and establish a standardized and credible means of promoting their designation.


These badges can seamlessly integrate into your social media profiles, email signatures, and resume, providing employers with a straightforward means to verify your professional credentials. Furthermore, the digital badge system comes with a convenient feature – it sends timely reminders as your recertification date approaches.


Expect an email from badgecert@infoihsa.ca within the next 72 hours containing detailed instructions on setting up your account. Once your account is established, you can effortlessly share your digital badge. Valuable information about the digital badge system, along with links to FAQs and instructional guides, is provided below for your reference.

Once you have received your "Congratulations" email, please follow the instructions below.

Step 1: Create your account


You will receive an email from badgecert@ihfoihsa.ca. Ensure you check your personal and work accounts as well as your junk mail as it may not be show up in your inbox. Once you receive the email, mark it as a safe sender.


The email will include a link, username and password for you to use to create your account.

Step 2: Verify your information and update your profile


Once you have logged in, on the left hand side of the main page, you will see Profile as an option. Click on it, and verify your contact information is correct. In addition, you can add a profile picture, change your password and add an additional email address. Need additional help, click here for FAQ's and How To's on creating your profile.


Step 3: Share your Badge

You are now ready to share your badge on your social media channels and add it to your email signature and resume. You can follow the directions in your welcome email or follow the directions here.
