Tony Papadakis
New WCC Athletic Director
Tony started his love for athletics as a young boy in San Carlos, CA. He played every sport possible up until high school. Tony played 4 years of Varsity basketball and baseball while attending Sequoia High School where he competed against such famous athletes including Tom Brady and C.C. Sabathia. He then received a baseball scholarship and played 4 years of collegiate baseball at LCU in Lubbock, TX where he played second and third base.  After graduating with a B.A. in Physical Education he began his teaching and coaching career.

Tony's broad teaching and coaching career began as he coached AAU Basketball at the High School Level in California for 3 years. When Tony moved to Massachusetts he became the Basketball Director at New England Sports Academy in Westwood, MA for 1 year where he coached recreational skills classes for boys and girls. He then became the Basketball Coach at the Middle School Level at DCD for 5 years in MA.

Tony's coaching in baseball is just as great, coaching at Dedham Country Day School, British School of Boston, and Kehillah Schechter Academy in MA. He has coached AAU Baseball at the 9u, 10u, 11u, 12u, 13u, 14u levels. He has been a PE Teacher, Athletic Director, and Sports Camp Director. We are proud to have Tony as part of our Whitin Community Center Family, and we look forward to the knowledge and expertise he will bring to our Athletic Department.
