Support EyeCare Partners Health Care Providers

EyeCare Partners has relaunched our Doctor Services department under the leadership of Kirby Cole, Vice President of Talent Acquisition and Doctor Services.


This represents a significant milestone in the growth and development of our organization. It demonstrates our commitment to provide the highest quality of patient care by supporting our dedicated healthcare providers with a seamless experience.

 

Our Journey to Date


Doctor Services has evolved amid the changing dynamics of health care and our needs. We comprehensively reviewed our processes and industry best practices. We also listened to our health care providers, administrators and staff to relaunch a team that is responsive, efficient and delivering excellence.

How Doctor Services Supports ECP Providers


Our new Doctor Services team supports:

 

  • Streamlined Provider Onboarding: We have implemented a more efficient onboarding process to help new providers integrate seamlessly into our organization so they can focus on providing exceptional patient care.


  • Enhanced New Hire Credentialing and Compliance: We’ve built a team and process to meet the highest standards of quality and regulatory requirements.


  • Robust Provider Support: We provide ongoing professional development, resources, and tools to enhance clinical practice and job satisfaction.


  • Efficiency and Transparency: We have optimized our operations to minimize administrative delays, reduce paperwork and enhance transparency in provider-related activities.


  • Offboarding: We are reviewing our offboarding process to ensure our providers leave ECP with a sense of accomplishment and dignity.


Looking Forward


Our Doctor Services team will be available to answer any questions and provide additional information in the coming weeks. Here are important and additional changes you will see.


1.) Doctor Services will be responsible for submitting and approving forms for provider compensation and other changes in Dayforce. We will require a counter-signed agreement to be saved in Dayforce before changes can be made to a doctor’s record.


ACTION REQUIRED: Send any updated contracts, addendums or

trial agreements to docassist@eyecare-partners.com.


2.) Doctor Services will audit employment agreements and other documents to ensure Dayforce records match contractual obligations. Look for communications from this team as we complete this audit with each practice. If you receive or sign a new agreement, please send it to docassist@eyecare-partners.com. We will make all the appropriate changes and confirm once those changes are complete.

3.) We are focused on improving our processes, especially those that require documentation. We will work to alleviate discrepancies between our intended employment experience and reality, and for our best possible provider experience. This will involve cross-department partnership, including with Legal, Payroll, Doctor Compensation, Doctor Reimbursement, Operations and others to stay aligned.

4.) Effective immediately, Manager, Doctor Services – Clinical Onboarding Heather Richards and the Clinical Onboarding team have joined Doctor Services. This team continues their work day-to-day, just now reporting under Doctor Services. This team remains the first contact once a new provider is recruited. They work with the provider to collect required documents, as well as ensure the provider file is complete and ready to send to the Centralized Credentialing team to begin payer enrollment.
