Ken Burns and Lynn Novick's ten-part, 18-hour documentary series, THE VIETNAM WAR, tells the epic story of one of the most consequential, divisive, and controversial events in American history as it has never before been told on film. Ten years in the making, the series includes rarely seen and digitally re-mastered archival footage from sources around the globe, photographs taken by some of the most celebrated photojournalists of the 20th Century, historic television broadcasts, evocative home movies, and secret audio recordings from inside the Kennedy, Johnson, and Nixon administrations. It premieres Sunday September 17, 2017 at 8 ET.

A limited number of comprehensive companion teaching materials for The Vietnam War will be distributed in the 2017-2018 academic year, featuring educational DVDs, activity packs, posters, and supplemental resources, through generous funding from Lynda & Stewart Resnick and The Better Angels Society.

GPB will provide a select number of Georgia schools with these educational kits. For a chance to be selected, please answer the questions in this form
