If you are a member of the General Hypnotherapy Register, participation in the programme would count as your annual GHR CPD requirement and provided that you had been practicing as a hypnotherapist for at least two years, successful completion of the programme would qualify you for Advanced Practitioner status within the GHR.

  

Credible University based degrees in hypnotherapy are extraordinarily rare and for a Masters programme to become available is truly exceptional.

MSc Professional Studies (Clinical Hypnotherapy)

 

Interested in developing your evidence base in Clinical Hypnotherapy?  

 

You can undertake one, or all, of our new Masters level modules as part of our Professional Studies Framework. This gives you the flexibility to:  

 

* Undertake a module when it fits into your life  

 

* Accumulate credits towards achieving an academic award

 

Modules 1 and 2 are taught entirely on-line!  

 

For Modules 3 and 4 you would be required to submit a portfolio demonstrating you can apply your hypnotherapy knowledge at Masters level. Consequently, you can do this by distance learning as well!

 

Module 1: Evidence-based Theory of Clinical Hypnotherapy- introduces the concept of evidence- based practice and the skills required to be able to evaluate the evidence (15 credits). Commencing September 2015!

 

Module 2: Anatomy and pathophysiology- a review of anatomy and pathophysiology for clinical hypnotherapy practice (15 credits). Commencing February 2016!

 

Module 3: Hypnotherapeutic Principles & Practice- designed to enable you to develop a critical understanding of key knowledge, principles and practice required in clinical hypnotherapy (30 credits).

 

Module 4: Hypnotherapeutic Application- enables you to demonstrate critical application and evaluation of key clinical hypnotherapy skills (30 credits).

Additional modules can be taken to achieve the full MSc!
