Great news!
The extension of the DMTR certificate which expired on 30 September 2020 (IMCA D05-20 indicated that all DMTs have 8 weeks starting 30 September 2020 to complete recertification else a full course should be undertaken again). However, KBA Training has received approval from IMCA to provide a blended live virtual instructor-led training together with our overseas approved assessment centres in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) and New Delhi (India). Other locations will be available soon.
Due to border restrictions, it has been challenging for our DMTs to attend our training in Singapore. We have managed to secure assessment locations to process skills refresher, assessments and renewal for our DMTs.
To participate in this blended live virtual instructor led DMTR training, all students enrolled in the DMTR course will be required to join the virtual training class with the theory and practical demonstrations led by your DMT specialist, the Head of the Medical Department, Mr Wayne Lee, then with in the period of your expiry date OR within 8 weeks as of 30 September 2020 to complete your practical and assessments at one of our partner centers.
After successful completion of the theory, practical demonstrations and online test, you will be required to reach out to one of the practical training and assessment centres (depending on your locations) to arrange for the hands-on practical refresher training and assessments. You should complete the practical training and assessments before your recertification period expires and as soon as possible after completing the virtual theory element of the course.
