Enter the New Year with New Data for Advancing Child and Youth Well-Being!

Access Hundreds of Estimates from the Combined 2023-2024 National Survey of Children's Health on CAHMI's Data Resource Center (childhealthdata.org)

Building on December’s release of the 2023-2024 National Performance and Outcome Measures data query, we are now pleased to provide “point and click” access to new estimates for over 350 child, youth and family measures from the 2023-2024 NSCH on the Child and Adolescent Health Measurement Initiative (CAHMI) Data Resource Center for Child and Adolescent Health (DRC) website at www.childhealthdata.org.

Since 2003, the CAHMI’s DRC has provided robust and comprehensive national and across-state data findings to track and drive improvements in critical child, youth, and family outcomes and systems performance indicators. We believe that with shared vision and data we can build on existing system, community, and child and family strengths to close the gap in child and youth well-being. We aim to help you achieve this goal by providing easy access to actionable data and supporting your own learning, collaborations, programs, research, and policy efforts.

Get point and click access to national, state, and regional data on the DRC’s interactive data query!

Our 2023-2024 NSCH interactive data query provides point-and-click access to representative data collected about more than 100,000 children and youth. Findings cover topics ranging from children’s physical, mental, and behavioral health and health conditions to numerous indicators of child, family, neighborhood, and school-level risks and protective factors, as well as information on access and quality of health insurance, health care, and related services and supports critical to the well-being of children and youth. This includes newer measures like the CAHMI’s Whole Child Risk Index, providing a comprehensive view showing that the vast majority of children with any health problem or condition also experience complex social and relational health risks, calling for the whole child, family, and systems approaches we all know are essential to improve positive child and youth health outcomes!
