Hamilton’s internationally recognized Hillfield Strathallan College (HSC) announced a new initiative that provides HSC students and the surrounding community members the opportunity to access a facility located on the HSC campus. Opening spring 2021, the All Canadian Tennis Centre (ACTC) at HSC will provide top-tier tennis programming and camps to juniors and adults, with memberships open to the public.
ACE Tennis, headquartered in Burlington, has been recognized as Canada’s top development tennis centre for 20 years. ACE Tennis is the operational programming brand name for All Canadian Sports Management Inc. (ACSM), which has been pivotal in developing the game of tennis in Canada for over 40 years. This partnership will provide opportunities for HSC students and the Trojan tennis team to receive nationally recognized coaching and programming services provided by ACE Tennis.
Paul Masotti, the Director of Athletics for HSC, "Our tennis facilities were made possible by the generosity of the Lawrie and Losani families, and thanks to this partnership with ACSM, we can extend that legacy of giving by sharing the courts with our wider community."
The All Canadian Tennis Centre, an Ontario Tennis Association member, will open in early May, with ACE covid protocols in place and provide the following services on the four courts of the beautiful campus:

  • Adult, junior and family memberships
  • Junior and adult programming and lessons
  • Junior summer wellness and tennis camps for juniors aged 5-16 years old
  • Ontario Tennis Association sanctioned junior and adult tournaments
Douglas Burke, co-owner of ACSM and president of the All Canadian Tennis Centre said, “We are excited for this partnership with such a great institution, and together, will develop the ACTC into a first-class tennis operation.”

Burke announced that Soner Ariburnu, Turkish Tennis Federation coach, will head the coaching staff at ACTC. Renee Castillo, former Division I level player at Robert Morris University, will lead the junior summer camps. Both are certified Tennis Canada professionals.
