USEA Area 1 Young Riders

Upcoming Deadlines & NEW Opportunity!

Area 1 Young Riders as well are U.S. Pony Club members are invited to practice presenting themselves and their horses at a formal jog, similar to an FEI event. The jog will be run as a clinic format with the Ground Jury as well as career groom, Lauren Mair to help guide riders through the process! Sign ups close August 20.

Individuals 17 or younger, as of December 1 of the current competition year, who are active members in good standing with US Equestrian and their Recognized National Affiliate are eligible to apply. Applicants are expected to demonstrate an ongoing commitment and dedication to the promotion of equestrian sport, serve as a positive role model for peers, and exhibit characteristics that exemplify positive sportsmanship principles. Applications now close September 18.

Applications for the The 2027 USEF Eventing Development 25 Program (Dev. 25 Program) are now open. Athletes must have achieved an MER at the CCI3*-L within the previous 2 years. Athletes also may be talent spotted if they have not achieved the MER.
