SPECIAL TOWN BOARD MEETING
THURSDAY, JUNE 14, 2018
6:30 PM, COMMUNITY CENTER
Funktion Design Studio will present and explain the latest building plan which will include:
- Converting the present Community Center to a recreational facility (field house).
- Demolishing the Red Brick Schoolhouse and replacing it with a new building including town offices, a multi-function exposition hall, a new kitchen, new bathrooms, additional meeting rooms, storage and more.
The Town Board has not yet seen these plans. The community is welcome to come and be among the first to evaluate what will be presented.
Additional public informational meetings will be held this summer to enable electors to learn more about the ultimate recommendation of the Town Board prior to a Special Elector Meeting, also planned for this summer, to approve or reject the Board recommendation. Dates for these additional meetings have not yet been determined.
