Odile Bailloeul captures the colours and style of Venice in her brand-new Murano collection | |

Designer Odile Bailleoul has done it again: known for her opulent colours and images, she's excelled herself with this new Murano collection.
It celebrates the rich décor of the palazzos of Venice, and the craftsmanship in glass for which the island of Murano is world-famous.

Brilliant hues meet lovely nature-inspired graphics, and if you're like us you'll already be coveting all the designs in this stunning new collection.
Fortunately we have that covered: as well as stocking all the fabrics by the metre, we also have a wonderful 17-piece Full Collection Fat Quarter pack, as seen below.

This is Odile Balilloeul's Lorenzo Quilt Kit, evoking the luxurious shades and striking geometrics of Venetian mosaics using the Murano fabrics.
It's a real burst of brilliance in both colour and design, and uses piecing and appliqué to create a finished piece 54x60in, the kit including all the fabric required for the quilt-top, binding and full instructions.

We love Southwold – and we adore Southwold Blue, too! | |
Here at Lady Sew and Sew, we're having a bit of a love-in with Southwold, the gem-like Suffolk seaside town with a lovely lighthouse and a brilliant brewery!
Judy and Joy first went there last Summer, and fell in love with the place, and newsletter writer Andrew's been visiting for holidays for almost half a century. So it's no surprise we've also fallen for this Southwold Blue collection from Sanderson, full of the 'coast meets countryside' atmosphere in a palette of blues, greens and cream.
There are just eight fabrics in the collection, available by the metre or in a Full Collection Fat Quarter pack, but there are also three Quilt Kits to choose from.

One of the oldest surviving English soft furnishing brands, Sanderson is famous for its classic, hand-drawn patterns in fresh, vibrant colours that are elegant yet easy to live with.
Those stunning florals are recalled in the A Celebration of Sanderson collection, while the more exotic side of the company's repertoire is on show in the Eastern-influenced Water Garden collection.
Both are available by the metre, and we also have a selection of Sanderson Fat Quarter packs.

The Mondo Bag Pattern is a great idea, combining the pattern and instruction to make this useful bag, as well as printed fusible interfacing for perfectly lined-up seams, making putting it all together a breeze.

As well as visiting us, you can of course also order online – and if you're local to Henley or Marlow, Click & Collect is available. Just order online or by phone, then pick up from the 'front desk' of the Henley Warehouse during office hours, or from our Marlow shop.
