Throughout life, both personally and professionally, problems arise and decisions need to be made. Oftentimes, these problems and decisions are complex in nature and require specific skills to address them.

In our next 2-week, 20-hour, Problem Solving and Decision Making Career Skills Development course (May 10-23), you will explore problem-solving and decision making both theoretically and practically.

The skills and techniques learned and practiced in this course will help you with interpersonal skills, critical thinking, and communication.

Over two weeks, you will:
  • Identify and clearly define a problem
  • Identify potential solutions to a problem
  • Utilize appropriate problem-solving techniques and critical thinking skills to solve a problem
  • Apply interpersonal and critical thinking skills to make a decision

There is an optional additional 20-hour research assignment to be completed after the course.
