Take a look inside Leadership Lancaster’s Cultural Arts Day!

The 2025–2026 class spent the day exploring the role of arts and culture across Lancaster County. The morning began with a welcome from the Lancaster County Council of the Arts and an overview of their educational programming, followed by a collaborative arts activity. Participants then enjoyed a performance from Lancaster Theater and took part in a leadership-building activity before hearing musical performances from the Andrew Jackson High School Choir & Theater students.

The afternoon continued with theater games and dance led by Lancaster High School, and a tour of Catawba arts and artistry at the Native American Studies Center. The day wrapped up with a public art tour and hands-on arts experience led by the Lancaster County Council of the Arts staff.

It was a full day of creativity, learning, and experiencing the many ways the arts enrich Lancaster County, thanks to the LCCA staff!

Ambassador Program

The 2026 Ambassador Program is in full swing! Chamber Ambassadors recently gathered at Senior Bigotes Restaurant to connect with one another, welcome new ambassadors, and discuss upcoming events and member news.

Since then, ambassadors have stayed busy engaging with Chamber members, showing up to support ribbon cuttings, and even updating their ambassador headshots.

Advocacy

Lancaster County government and community leaders recently attended the Annual Advocacy State Capitol Reception hosted by the Charlotte Regional Business Alliance with SC Gov. Henry McMaster in Columbia on March 4. It was a beautiful evening spent at the South Carolina Governor's Mansion connecting and celebrating regional advocacy efforts.

The Lancaster County Chamber's YP Committee met via zoom to plan the first event of 2026! The program is excited to bring back a favorite event from last year!
