Introducing Code Club

For grades 4-6: Learn to play and experiment with coding!

This three-session program will support kids to experiment with coding in a fun and playful way. We will use micro:bits and Scratch to explore the basics of coding, working together and individually to work on small projects and play games. No skills or equipment required - just bring your imagination and curiosity! We will meet three times in February:

  • Tuesday, February 10, 3:30-4:45pm
  • Tuesday, February 17, 3:30-4:45pm
  • Tuesday, February 24, 3:30-4:45pm

Kids are encouraged to attend all three sessions,

as we will build on our learnings each week.

Registration is required for all three dates.

This program is only for kids in grades 4-6.

This is an exciting chance to work at Squamish Public Library developing, implementing and evaluating innovative services, programs, volunteer initiatives and community partnerships.

Purchase Requests

We receive hundreds of purchase requests every year - all of which are reviewed by the collection development team.

In late fall 2025 we noticed that the request form was not functioning as expected. Unfortunately, any requests submitted from early October to mid November were lost during the glitch. If you are still waiting on a request, please know that it might have been lost.

Purchase requests can be submitted on our website.
