Our SUMMER FESTIVAL TOUR is filled with music, art, dance, theater, and more! We begin in COOPERSTOWN where we will see Stephen Sondheim’s SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE at the acclaimed GLIMMERGLASS FESTIVAL. Included in our visit to the BERKSHIRES are performances at treasured venues such as TANGLEWOOD, and JACOBS PILLOW, and a day in WILLIAMSTOWN, MA to visit the world-class CLARK ART INSTITUTE. Then travel to VERMONT for two performances at the exceptional MARLBORO MUSIC FESTIVAL where master concert artists join each summer with talented young professionals to rehearse, study, and play. Delicious dining experiences, gorgeous scenery, and an abundance of museums and historic houses will be a part of this extraordinary summer journey. We hope you will join us. | |

MONDAY, AUGUST 4 – Depart Philadelephia for COOPERSTOWN, NY. Explore this charming town and perhaps visit the iconic NATIONAL BASEBALL HALL OF FAME or the FENIMORE ART MUSEUM built on land once owned by novelist James Fenimore Cooper. Travel north to UTICA, NY for an included dinner and overnight at THE DOUBLETREE, formerly HOTEL UTICA, a favorite of Judy Garland and FDR. (L, D)
TUESDAY, AUGUST 5 – Visit the fine collections of American and European art at the MUNSON built by architect Philip Johnson. Return to COOPERSTOWN for an optional performance of Stephen Sondheim’s SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE. Dinner is included on the way to the BERKSHIRES where we will check in at the HAMPTON INN and SUITES in LENOX, MA (B, D)

WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 6 - VISIT NAUMKEAG, with its exceptional gardens and splendid Gilded Age mansion designed by Stanford White. Lunch is on your own in picturesque STOCKBRIDGE, before a visit to the NORMAN ROCKWELL MUSEUM with works by the beloved twentieth-century painter and illustrator. Dinner is included this evening, followed by a performance at the JACOB'S PILLOW DANCE FESTIVAL.(TBA) (B, D)

THURSDAY, AUGUST 7 - Travel to WILLIAMSTOWN to visit the STERLING AND FRANCINE CLARK ART INSTITUTE with its exciting building by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Tadao Ando. You also can tour the WILLIAMS COLLEGE MUSEUM OF ART and MASS MOCA, New England’s showcase of contemporary art in NORTH ADAMS. Dinner is included this evening followed by a performance at another one of the BERKSHIRE’S iconic venues. TBA (B, D)

FRIDAY, AUGUST 8 – This morning, visit THE MOUNT, the home of EDITH WHARTON, followed by lunch on your own and shopping in LENOX. This afternoon, attend an optional performance at nearby SHAKESPEARE & COMPANY (TBA) or further explore more small museums and houses in the area. One of the highlights of our trip is an included concert at the TANGLEWOOD MUSIC CENTER this evening (TBA). Dinner is on your own on the Tanglewood campus. (B) | |
SATURDAY, AUGUST 9 – Attend an open rehearsal at TANGLEWOOD before departing for VERMONT. Check-in at the HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS in BRATTLEBORO for a two-night stay. Dinner is included this evening before our first concert at the MARLBORO MUSIC FESTIVAL. (B, D)
SUNDAY, AUGUST 10- Visit BRATTLEBORO this morning where you can shop, enjoy lunch on your own, and visit the BRATTLEBORO MUSEUM & ART CENTER. We will stop at the Putney Farmer’s Market before attending an afternoon concert at the MARLBORO MUSIC FESTIVAL. Dinner is included this evening. (B, D)
MONDAY, AUGUST 11 – Travel south and make a special stop at the extraordinary STORM KING ART CENTER, an opportunity to explore art in nature as we view their monumental sculptures, site-specific earthworks, and more! We will arrive back in the Philadelphia area by early evening (B, L)

COST $3890 per person sharing a double room. The single supplement is $835.
INCLUDED IN THE COST: Accommodations for seven nights as described in the itinerary including tax; six dinners, two lunches, breakfast daily; all transportation by deluxe motor coach from the Philadelphia area; admission costs for included museums and sites; five performances. Costs are based on a minimum of 20 participants. The trip will be escorted by a representative from EXCURSIONS FROM THE SQUARE. The cost of tickets for SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE at GLIMMERGLASS is additional. EARLY BOOKING DISOUNT: If your deposit is received by MONDAY, MARCH 3, you will be entitled to a discount of $200 per person.
PLEASE NOTE: Schedules and programs are not yet available at many of the performing arts venues in the BERKSHIRES, so the order of of events may change in the weeks to come.

FINAL PAYMENT is due no later than TUESDAY, APRIL 28, 2025. A full refund for land arrangements may be made until APRIL 28 less your deposit of $850. Thereafter, all costs are non-refundable. Travel insurance is highly recommended and is available from EXCURSIONS FROM THE SQUARE.
