New this school year, Naviance will help sixth-grade students
explore careers, learn about salaries, skill qualifications and career options.
Naviance allows your student to:
  • Begin exploring college and careers – Research hundreds of careers and career clusters, and take career assessments 
  • Set personal goals – Learn about goal-setting and what it takes to obtain a dream job.
  • Create future plans – Teachers will instruct and lead students to plan for future college and career goals.
Naviance is NOT...
  • Replacing or removing the important work of a school counselor.
  • Replacing current core content curriculum.
  • A time-intensive tool to learn and master to be successful in the classroom.
For the 2022-2023 school year, sixth-graders will be using Naviance as a part of their learning in Social Studies.
