The Boiler in the Basement
is Unsafe & Stopped Working.
OUR HOME HEATING SYSTEM HAS GONE KAPOOT.
Our Steam Boiler in the basement of the "Main House" has been going strong since 1979. So it held in there for 45 years. Plus, there's also another heater that has also bowed out. There are 2 houses on this property and both heaters have been diagnosed as Kabloo-ey at the same time.
The house in the back is called "The Carriage House" because that's where the horsies used to live over a hundred years ago. Above that is a cold 4 bedroom house with a caved in ceiling. Been meaning to fix that ceiling.
We've had 4 Heater-Fixer Professionals come out and we've received estimates for replacing the two big machines for $12,000-$15,000. We are expecting 2 more quotes to come in.
We're doing our research. We need to learn everything about Heating Systems now so we make the right decisions for the future of the house, our visitors, and our increasingly surprising budget needs. Please help us pay for these new additions. We promise we are going to make the best decisions we can with our Donor's money.
