Business Safety Plans & Affirmation Each business MUST have a plan to protect employees and consumers, make the physical work space safer and implement processes that lower risk of infection in the business. This plan must be POSTED at place of business and does not need to be sent to State. Each business MUST also complete a Business Affirmation online stating they have read the information and agree to follow protocols . All Phase I business sample templates can be found at link below. PPP Loan Forgiveness Application The U.S. Small Business Administration, in consultation with the U.S Department of the Treasury, released the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) Loan Forgiveness Application and detailed instructions for the application.  The form and instructions inform borrowers how to apply for forgiveness of their PPP loans, consistent with the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act). The form and instructions include several measures to reduce compliance burdens and simplify the process for borrowers, including: Options for borrowers to calculate payroll costs using an “alternative payroll covered period” that aligns with borrowers’ regular payroll cycles. Flexibility to include eligible payroll and non-payroll expenses paid or incurred during the eight-week period after receiving their PPP loan. Step-by-step instructions on how to perform the calculations required by the CARES Act to confirm eligibility for loan forgiveness. Borrower-friendly implementation of statutory exemptions from loan forgiveness reduction based on rehiring by June 30. Addition of a new exemption from the loan forgiveness reduction for borrowers who have made a good-faith, written offer to rehire workers that was declined. Loan Forgiveness Application 

New York launched a new "BUSINESS REOPEN LOOKUP TOOL"  on the NY Forward website. Even with expanded lists of business allowed to reopen in Phase One, there are many questions about whether a particular type of business fits the allowed categories. So to make it easier to be certain, a business can now go to this tool on the website and, using their NAICS code, can obtain a quick answer as to whether they may yet reopen or not. If they can, of course, they still would need to go to the relevant category on the site to review and affirm the appropriate Guidelines and then to use the Template to create a Health & Safety Plan. Follow Our North Country Progress The Regional Control Room will monitor the hospitalization rate, death rate, number of new hospitalizations, hospital bed capacity, ICU bed capacity, testing and contact tracing within its region during reopening and alert the state if the region's metrics no longer meet the reopening guidelines and adjust the reopening plan for that region accordingly. This information is updated daily.  Regional Dashboard
