Wheat
Wheat is looking great across our area. We are now able to see the effects of first split application as the wheat continues to green up and grow. We are seeing some weeds starting to emerge, so keep your eyes open so you are able to be proactive.
Fertilizer
We have now seen some first passes of split application applied as the warmer weather helped us get out and start earlier. It won’t be long until we are ready to apply the second application of fertilizer; maybe a couple weeks. Now we are also working on getting the full shot of fertilizer out to customers. If you are not sure what to apply, please feel free to give your agronomist a call!

Chemical
For those of you who have completed chemical plans, we are starting to send out chemical orders now. If you would like to ensure your supply, and want to hold your chemical on farm, please let us know and we can set up a pickup/delivery.
Seed
We are now shipping out seed in both bags and bulk. If you are ready for your seed, please give Donna a call (519-845-3301) and she can schedule a pickup or drop off with you.
Soil
Soil conditions are great for spreading and working in fertilizer. If we get rains next week, there is a potential that some people may start planting in late April. Soil moisture is the most important thing to be aware of when planting, so given the current soil temperatures, and the projected cooler forecast, we do not recommend you start planting just yet.
