Feed your Soul: Gather & Grow with Others
In-Person Worship with Holy Communion
Sunday, 10 AM
Gather on the lawn at Christ Church to worship with others. This Sunday, for the first time in many months, participants may receive Holy Communion in one kind. “Communion in one kind” means receiving either the bread or the wine, but not both. Usually this is done for health reasons or during times of illness. For us, in the midst of the pandemic, it is for reason of health; to limit touchpoints where the coronavirus might be spread during worship. The good news is that our theology says that when we receive communion in one kind, bread or wine, we receive the spiritual benefits of the whole sacrament. Jesus is truly and fully present when we receive either the bread or the wine. Click here for more details and what to expect.

Calling all parents! Join in for support and check-in
All parents of kiddos in PreK-High School have had to make adjustments to learning this year, most of us switching to online and/or from home. It's a new experience to say the least! Join others for a Zoom meeting to check in with one another, share frustrations, and share successes. Click on the Zoom link in Realm Events on Monday, September 14, 7:00 PM.
Thank you for being a faithful part of Christ Church. Your gifts and pledged contributions are so appreciated.
Giving to Christ Church and making sure your pledge is up-to-date allows us to preach the gospel, make disciples, and support others in our community who need help.

We earnestly appreciate your ongoing support and want to let you know we’re here for you. If there’s ever anything we can do for you and your family, don’t hesitate to reach out. You are a valued part of our church family and you’re financial support is making a difference.
Gardeners: Perennials Wanted!
Uncle Sam may need you, but Rev. Shirley needs your perennials! Seriously, Eagle Scout Candidate Charl Miller and his troop built us a fantastic raised bed garden (between Garage and Library) so that we can grow flowers for the altar on the upper bed and preschool can use the lower bed for teaching science. To get us started, would you consider giving some of your perennials for transplanting? If so, please email Lynne Still at Thank you!
This Saturday! Reconnect with the earth and help feed our neighbors

A recent Food Study Survey revealed that almost 23% of Richmond residents are food insecure -- meaning they do not have access to fresh food options.

You can do something about it! Shalom Farms works with communities to ensure access to healthy food and the support to live healthy lives. Register now in Realm to join fellow CCE members in helping to feed the hungry through this vital ministry.
