NEW business exceptions process
October 4, 2021
Our network has asked senior government leaders many times to provide a clear, timely exceptions process to health orders. We have not received this.

To address this need, we have created our own process. Alberta businesses will be able to submit their exception request through an online form and we will share these submissions with your local chamber.

Local chambers will then send this information with a letter to your MLA, asking that they respond to businesses directly within seven days. The ACC will follow up with you directly to confirm whether you received a satisfactory answer.

The purpose of this process is to shift accountability to MLAs to provide answers for their constituents.

To share the online form, please type the link exactly as shown: albertaperspectives.ca/c/r/ExceptionRequest
Please contact hclifford@abchamber.ca with any questions. Thank you for your continued commitment to your communities!
