Marta Mouka is a textile artist who works with woven silk, often contact-printed with plant material, to make finished textiles with a smooth texture and soft-focus colour transitions. She experiments with centuries-old techniques of dyeing with natural dyes and combines them with the more contemporary method of botanical monoprinting. With this technique she creates framed works of art and elegant silk scarves.

Dave Trant: PORT PERRY
David Trant is a Toronto-born painter and carver whose work is described as East Coast folk meets Bugs Bunny. David has worked as a freelance artist, wood carver and painter  ( and yacht captain, motorcycle shop manager, and pipe organ repair guy). Influenced by his family's East Coast roots, David has developed work that balances folk carving with a contemporary, whimsical style. David now makes his home here in Scugog Township.

So we've made it easy to give a little guidance for friends and family, for your wedding, birthday or the holidays.  Simply visit either location and one of our staff will help you create your wish list or Gift Registry. Then tell your family and friends and we'll keep track of their purchases so you don't get more teapots, earrings or blown glass than you desire. If you can't visit in person, browse through our online offerings and email or call us.
Just keep in mind that with our ever-changing collection of one-of-a-kind pieces, the selection of available works will vary.

We're always adding new classes to our schedule at both our locations! Check out the full list online. You can register via our website, over the phone, or in person.
