Energy/Plants Ops Conference is Next Week
The NEWEA Plant Operations Committee and Energy Committee are hosting a joint conference on April 14-15, 2022 in Haverhill, MA, highlighting best practices for energy efficiency, capital upgrades and plant operations. The event will include a facility tour of Greater Lawrence Sewer District (GLSD) on Thursday, April 14 followed by a reception and a full day of technical content on Friday, April 15.

Join the YP Committee for their Next Poo and Brew
Register for this Poo and Brew to take a tour of Suffield WPCA and enjoy a reception at Luppoleto Brewing Company. Registration fee is $25 for NEWEA members or $35 for nonmembers. Students can register for $15 with a valid student ID.

WEN to Host a Networking Event
Join the Women's Environmental Network (WEN) and NEWEA on May 4 for an evening of networking and discussions focused on employee benefits. This event will be hosted at the Sam Adams Taproom in Faneuil Hall from 5:30 - 8:00 PM on May 4. Drinks and light appetizers will be served.

Register for a NEWEA/EPA Workshop
Join NEWEA in partnership with EPA on June 9 in Framingham, MA to take a 360-degree look at your utility and set priorities that work for your utility and community. This workshop will help utilities address a full range of challenges and move toward sustainable management of their operations and infrastructure.
