With winter officially behind us and as we look to the months ahead, things are starting to get busier within NEWEA.
Our 2022 Spring Meeting is taking place May 22-25 at the Mount Washington Resort. The hotel room block for this event is now open, and in the coming week, we will also be releasing the Preliminary Program, exhibit enrollment, Golf Tournament registration, and sponsorship information. We look forward to seeing everyone next month at our first in-person Spring Meeting since 2019.
Prior to the Spring Meeting, there are several opportunities to meet with your water quality colleagues and earn some Training Contact Hours. NEWEA's Plant Operations Committee and Energy Committee are co-hosting a joint conference featuring a facility tour and full day of technical content April 14-15; our next Poo and Brew event is happening April 7 in Suffield, CT; and on May 4, NEWEA and the Women's Environmental Network (WEN) will be hosting an evening of networking and facilitating discussions about employee benefits. More information and links to register for these events can be found below.
Also happening this month is Water Week 2022. Water Week is scheduled for April 24-30, with the National Water Policy Fly-In happening April 26-27. This event allows water professionals to meet with elected officials and discuss water quality and stormwater infrastructure issues facing communities in the Northeast. NEWEA's Government Affairs Committee will be participating virtually this year. More information will be released shortly.
