DC Fly In to Take Place in Washington, DC April 8-9

Join NEWEA, NEWWA, and our 12 drinking water and clean water state associations in Washington, DC April 8-9 to connect with congressional offices and share your story on important water quality issues during Water Week 2025. Deadline to register is March 14.

Join us on March 21 at the Westborough WWTF for the Operations Challenge Facility Tour and Training Day! This event offers a tour of the facility, classroom and hands-on experience, and information about the Operations Challenge.

Student Design Competition Initial Entry Deadline is March 21

Undergraduate/graduate student teams are invited to enter NEWEA's 2025 Student Design Competition (SDC)! The SDC is intended to promote a real world design experience for students interested in pursuing an education and/or career in water engineering and sciences.

NEWEA to Co-Host WEFMAX with WEF

The New England WEFMAX (Water Environment Federation Member Association Exchange) will take place in Salem, MA April 30-May 2. The mission of the WEFMAX program is to offer a forum to share successes and lessons learned to strengthen MAs and WEF.

Connecticut: Exhibit booth registration is now open for CTWEA's Wastewater Forum & Expo, taking place on May 5 in Plantsville, CT.


Maine: MEWEA is partnering with MWUA and NEIWPCC-JETCC to host the North Country Convention April 2-3.


Massachusetts: MAWEA is hosting a one-day training, Nitrogen & Phosphorus Removal Using Process Simulators, on April 25 in Millbury, MA.


New Hampshire: NHWPCA's Legislative Breakfast is taking place on March 6 in Concord, NH.


Rhode Island: RICWA is sponsoring free open houses at four water resource recovery facilities during the week of April 6-12 in recognition of National Clean Water Week.


Vermont: The deadline to submit an abstract for GMWEA's Spring Meeting, taking place on May 22 in Killington, VT, is April 1.
