They love the quality and respect our promise of Affordable Innovation bringing performance gear to anglers everywhere at incredible prices. Our promise to them and to the rest of the fishing community is that we will never compromise our commitment to building the finest gear possible and we will always back it up with legendary service.”

The six will use a combination of KastKing WideEye Walleye fishing rods, KastKing Speed Demon Pro rods, KastKing reels, and KastKing fishing line for walleye and other fishing tournaments in the western and northern tier states.
Joining 2018 National Walleye Tour Champion KastKing Pro Dylan Nussbaum (see below) on the KastKing Pro Staff roster is Aaron Raiche l. Raichel took first place finishes in the Walleye Insanity Walleye Tournament, April 14 th , 2018 at Cherry Creek Reservoir, Denver, Colorado and in the September 29th Colorado Walleye State Championship at Lake Pueblo, Pueblo, Colorado. He also won first place at the Colorado Walleye State Championship at Horsetooth Reservoir, Fort Collins, Colorado. Regional highlights include his 2018 National Walleye Tournaments 24 th place of 82 teams in the Masters Walleye Circuit event at Lake Francis Case, Platte, South Dakota and Best of the Midwest Championship in Harlan County, Nebraska placing 37th out of 73 Teams. In Colorado Walleye Tournament Team of the Year Standings Raichel was 13 th of 68 Teams. He was also the Colorado Walleye Association Big Fish Winner in June 2018.
John Mooreland from Colorado also made the move to sign with KastKing. His passion for walleye fishing started early while fishing with his father, which set the ground work for his tournament fishing.

Fishing is a year-round sport for John and his family. He is equally at home on the ice as he is on the boat in open water. While he considers himself a walleye expert, his fishing isn’t limited to that species. Colorado offers a wide variety of angling opportunities and John is highly skilled in each one.
As a passionate angler, John loves to share his knowledge of the sport and the techniques that he has perfected. While he may save some of his secret spots for himself, he is eager to teach, coach and mentor anyone that is interested in getting into this sport. While John considers himself an expert troll fisherman and has perfected that technique in order to stay on a consistent bite throughout the year, he considers jig fishing his “Go To” technique when a tournament is on the line.

In 2015 Mooreland set the one day, Colorado Walleye Association tournament record with a one-day total weight of a little over 21 lbs for five fish. John finished 5th in the 2018 Cherry Creek Tournament, which is comprised of the top Walleye Anglers in the west. In addition, he has finished in the top 12 of those competitive anglers in every Cherry Creek event he has competed in. John also finished 3rd place for the CWA State Cup for the year. In 2019 he teams up with KastKing Pro Angler Erick Knodel in tournaments.
Chantry Cunning , a respected walleye regional tournament angler, brings a track record of numerous top 10 finishes in walleye tournaments and even more in the top 20 to Team KastKing. Cunning took First Place honors at the 2018 Colorado State Championship/Colorado Cup on September 29 th at Pueblo Reservoir. In Colorado Walleye Points Tournament he finished in 4th place at Jumbo Reservoir, Julesburg, Colorado in 2012, and 8 th place in 2015 at the Pueblo Colorado Reservoir Colorado Walleye Points Tournament. At the Wyoming Walleye Stampede State Championship that took place August 11 th and 12 th , 2018 at Fish Pathfinder Reservoir in Alcova, Wyoming he placed 15th and won Big Fish.

Chantry Cunning says about his move to KastKing, “Switching companies in the fishing industry is never an easy task, especially when you have been with a company for many years. The switch for me to KastKing from my previous sponsor was made easier because of Al Noraker and company. The high-quality products and the unbelievable prices is my biggest reason for the switch. I believe everyone should be aware of what KastKing is doing. Not everyone is able to afford a $300-$500 rod and reel combo that is at the highest of quality. This is where KastKing comes in and will take over the market with the highest quality, at the best prices. truly ‘Affordable Innovation’.”
Keith Eshbaugh from Pennsylvania who has fished professionally for 15 years on the pro walleye circuits across the country also joins the KastKing Pro Team. He is a well-known fishing seminar speaker and fishing guide. Keith was a Masters Walleye Circuit Team of The Year and Kinzua Allegheny Walleye Team of the Year angler. He is an Anglers Advisory Panel member of MWC. Keith is the owner of Dutch Fork Custom Lures and a lure designer and painter for several large manufacturer and retailers. He has been a mentor to NWT Champion Dylan Nussbaum.
Dave Born is a competitive angler who will be on the water at least four days a week repping the KastKing brand while either preparing for walleye tournament conditions or just enjoying his passion. Northern Colorado is his home base but he fishes throughout Colorado and Wyoming in both tournaments and for pleasure. His favorite lakes include Horsetooth, Carter, Boyd, North Sterling and Pueblo Reservoirs.

A lifelong fisherman, Dave has been competing in walleye tournament fishing for 14 years. In his very first tournament he placed 5th and in that same year scored at the top for big fish honors. Dave was given the Adult Angler of The Year award from the Colorado Walleye Association in 2013 while competing across Colorado against some of the best competitors. Dave took home first place honors in the 2017 Walleye Insanity Tournament held on Pueblo Reservoir in 2017.

Erick Knodel,  an avid angler for over 30 years, has recently decided to take his passion to the next level and bring KastKing along on the adventure. His years of experienced have prepared Erick for walleye tournament fishing. Fishing on the Colorado Walleye Association team tournament circuit has been a dream and will be realized in 2019 as he joins KastKing Pro Angler John Moreland as his teammate in all tournaments . “Johnnie Mooreland is an experienced Walleye Pro and tournament winner with years of tournament experience,” says Knodel. Between John’s experience and Erick’s enthusiasm, this is certainly a team that all other anglers will have to keep their eye on this season.

“That these accomplished tournament anglers left their previous associations and signed on with KastKing tells the story. Anglers of this caliber don’t make snap decisions or make a switch without doing their testing, research, and thorough investigation. It clearly speaks volumes for the quality and performance of KastKing WideEye Walleye Rods, other KastKing rods, KastKing reels, and fishing line for tournament fishing. We are pleased and proud to have them on board with KastKing,” says Tom Gahan, CMO at KastKing.
