Come Celebrate Halloween In Flemington
FLEMINGTON, N.J. — Flemington is ready to celebrate Halloween with events for children as well as adults.
Chirp WorkSHOP, located at 26 Fulper Road, has many things planned for children.
On Oct. 20 at 11, there will be non-scary Halloween story time and craft for the little ones. There is no age cap, but it is recommended that children older than 2 and able to sit still through 45 minutes or more for stories. After story time, there will be simple Halloween craft for the kids. The cost is $10 per child.
The Chirp Spooktacular,
is set for Oct. 21 from 11 a.m.to 2 p.m., and includes a Halloween magic show. Guests can make "zombie bears,” and hunt for pumpkins and play games. There will also be a costume contest for kids and pets with prizes awarded. The fee is $30 per child.
On Oct. 27 the Shoppes at Flemington located at 100 Reaville Avenue will hold a
from 4- to 7 p.m. Children, accompanied by an adult can go trick or treating store to store, climb aboard police, fire, and rescue vehicles and meet and greet with local first responders. There will be prizes and great fun for kids and adults. It is a free event. See more at
The Pumpkin Trains
continue to run every weekend through Oct. 28, from Ride the antique train from the Flemington Station to Pumpkin Junction at Everitt Farms. There is a corn maze, wagon rides and a petting zoo. Pumpkins can be picked and purchased for an additional fee. Prices start at $14 for children 3 to11. Check

Star Thrower Group, located at 9 Main Street will host a
with games and a haunted house on Oct. 31 from 3 to 8 p.m. There will be a Mummy Challenge, Ghost racers, Frank-N-Stein's photo spot, Flying spiders, and a Mad Scientist Lab, with a build your own potion station.
Carnival tickets can be purchased at the door and you can visit any time the kids need a break from trick or treating.
Community Costume Party
is scheduled for Oct. 28. The party will be hosted by

celebrate healing in the eyes of a child in honor of domestic violence awareness month. Entry is free but donations are welcome.
