Rochester, NY - The Rochester City School District is pleased and excited to announce the launch of its data dashboard called ROC 3D. This real time data tracks student success in the District. This transparent, forward-facing, data portal monitors areas like attendance, suspensions, credit accurual, and reading and math performance.
Superintendent Barbara Deane-Williams said, “this system helps ensure accurate information is at your fingertips and ensures overall accountability.”
Roc 3D, located on the District’s website, includes data related to the District’s Key Performance Indicators (KPI), which are goals in the District’s Comprehensive Plan. Parents, students, and the school community can “drill down” and measure data against goals in order to meet specific targets.
Annmarie Lehner, the District’s Chief Information Officer said, “Parents and students can monitor academic progress, and educators can make informed decisions to improve student success.”
After January 1
st, the District will hold a public information session so parents and community members can learn more about how to use this technology. This an example of the District’s commitment to technology. This online data portal helps build a system of trust, transparency, and collaboration with the entire community and its stakeholders.
